Taking a one week vacation to Oahu this August with our two toddler boys. 4 and 2. I lived there for four year before I had children, and would like to know any good activities for our boys. We know of the zoo, aquarium, beaches and parks, anything else???

My boyfriend and I are going to Oahu for 7 days in a little less than 2 weeks. I'm trying to find out what sights would be best to check out, we're not trying to just spend the whole time at the hotel in the pool, we actually want to see Hawaii and not just a tour bus. So with this being said any advice on best places to see/ things to do. Also if you have restaurant suggestions that aren't crazy expensive and that feature traditional Hawaiian/ Polynesian food, or anything really besides burgers and fries that would be great.

I need to know how much money it might take to take a 7 day trip to hawaii. I have never been there, it would also be my first time on a plane so I no nothing about that aspect of the trip. I was also wondering if it is expensive to go from island to island? I would appreciate any advise from anyone who has been there and done that. Thanks!
i'm planning a trip to the honolulu area of oahu, spending about a week exploring and camping. i have encountered a problem; i learned there is no camping on wed and thur, but i plan to stay tue-mon. where can i safley and legally camp on wed & thur, on oauh?
All I know is that it's somewhere on old Pali Road...How do I get to old Pali road and then where is the actual site?
I live on Oahu and I'll be turning 21 soon. I was wondering what the best place to get drinks is. Some place with a little food would be nice. I'm not looking to get smashed on hard liquor or drinks that taste like cough syrup.
Also, I don't mind spending a little money but I'm not looking to break the bank.
I'm looking at both Oahu (probably near the Marine Corps base up north or other places at least an hour out from downtown like Kahuku) and the big island (Kapaau, Naalehu, or Kalapana) and I was wondering where I could go to compare the quality of life / things to do in these areas. I expect to be about 29 - 32 by that point.
